Description of soldering brazed PCBN inserts:
PCBN cutting inserts are welded directly onto the blade base to form a growing, super-strong structure, without the risk of layering or cracking. 
 
Applications of soldering brazed PCBN inserts:
The idea for machining hard ferrous metals, such as hardened steels, and gray cast iron.
PCBN inserts are widely used to machine brake discs, engine cylinder liners, engine blocks, break drumsticks, valve seats & guides, gears, and mold, etc.

PCBN tools provide exceptional performance in precision machining of a wide variety of hardened and abrasive ferrous and superalloy materials.
 
For example, hardened steel (HRC45-65), gray cast iron (HB200-280), hot/cold working tool steel (HRC45-65), high speed steel (HRC45-65), bearing steel (HRC45-65), sintered iron, Nickel-based alloys, tungsten-based alloys, powder metallurgy, etc.
It is also stable at high temperatures (up to 1500°C).
