Solid CBN Inserts are made of cubic boron nitride micro powder under the process of super high temperature and high press. The pcbn material is the hardest known material second only to synthetic diamond. PCBN inserts are made of CBN super hard material, have perfect impact and abrasion resistance performance. Rough turning and dry cutting application. The hard turning processing is considered as a better alternative to the conventional grinding process due to the possibility of operating in a single step that provides a surface finish as compared to the super finishing achieved in grinding process.  More Superhard's solid cbn inserts for multiple machining requirements. What is Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN)
Cubic boron nitride (CBN) is a high hardness, high heatresistance crystal synthesized by boron and nitrogen under high temperature and high pressure.The polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PCBN) is a sintered material synthesized by selecting CBN micro-nano crystal powder and binder under high temperature and high pressure.
Cubic boron nitride inserts (CBN Inserts) is a high-performance type of cutting tool material from a polycrystalline mass. Boron and nitrogen is very rich in the nature: 78% of the air component is nitrogen! The cutting tools made of CBN can replace a large number of cutting tools made of high pollution and high energy consumption mineral resources, such as tungsten carbide and corundum.
